Lowcost

As the name suggests, this is a place to park your vehicle for a cheap rate. These parking lots are usually located away from the airports, but shuttles are provided to transport travelers to the different terminals.

Secure

In all cases, secure parking lots are monitored areas. Cameras are installed to ensure that no suspicious behavior is observed. In most cases, one or more security guards patrol the area to secure the vehicles present.

Covered

Covered parking lots provide a roof for parked vehicles. The parking spaces are mostly located in multi-level or underground parking lots, covering the motorcycles and cars parked on the lower levels. Only vehicles on the top floor of elevated garages may not be protected from the weather.

Airport

An interconnection hub allowing travelers to take flights to various locations around the globe. An airport consists of multiple terminals to best guide passengers to their relevant flights. Duty-free areas, dining services, and vehicle rentals can also be found at airports.

Shuttle

As the translation suggests, the term "shuttle" is an anglicism referring to a shuttle. This shuttle can connect different terminals to airport parking lots, as well as to nearby public transportation stations or other train stations and/or airports.

Valet Service

This service allows travelers to be taken to their desired destination by a reserved vehicle driven by a chauffeur. It is very useful to use valet service when the journey has been long and it is desirable to go directly to a hotel.

Video Surveillance

This method allows security guards to monitor all areas covered by security cameras. This system helps secure certain critical areas where high traffic would be observed such as terminals, shops, check-in or boarding areas, etc.

Baggage Assistance

In a small percentage of cases during air travel, travelers may not find their luggage in the baggage claim area. In this specific case, baggage assistance is used to locate the item in question, and the relevant airline returns it to the owner as soon as possible. This assistance also covers any damage to the baggage during the flight.

Handicap Accessibility

Accessibility for people with reduced mobility is important and present in various locations, allowing people with disabilities to more easily access these locations. It can also involve designated spaces in terminals or inside airplanes.

International Flight

Medium and long-haul flights are most often international. These trips allow passengers on board to travel to another country. Many airlines operate to facilitate travel between countries or regions of the world.

Airline Company

These are organizations that offer their services to transit passengers from one place to another by plane. These companies (such as Ryanair, Easy Jet, or Jet Airways, for example) have dedicated counters in each airport.

Flight Number

To avoid confusing all the daily flights operated by airplanes from different airlines, flight numbers are assigned to identify each recorded flight. A flight number is associated with a unique route.

Destination

This is the place where the airplane lands. For example, a plane bound for Paris will land at one of the two airports in the French capital. Many destinations are available thanks to the different flights offered by airlines.

Economy Class

During a flight, among the different classes offered, these are the most accessible or low-cost seats. This cheap rate allows you to reserve a seat among the majority available. These seats offer less comfort than those in business class.

Business Class

During a flight, among the different classes offered, these are the most comfortable seats. Consequently, these seats generally cost more than those in economy class. Other advantages are present such as a wider choice of meals during long-haul flights.

Boarding Pass

Like a train ticket, this is the valid ticket in airports. Without this document, it is impossible to board a plane to go somewhere. This boarding pass validates your seat and flight number.

Park Sleep And fly

This formula allows the traveler to stay overnight in a hotel near the airport and take advantage of the free parking at the establishment. A shuttle then provides the connection between the two so that the beneficiary can catch their flight on time.

Park and Fly

This formula allows the traveler to park their vehicle for free in one of the parking lots offered by the airport and take their flight straight away. With this method, the beneficiary of the offer does not have to worry about the location and price of the parking space for their vehicle.

Taxi Shuttle

Similar to a shuttle, the taxi shuttle allows the traveler to go to another location from the airport or vice versa, from a hotel or downtown to the airport in question. This preferred means of transportation is slightly more expensive than the shuttle shared by passengers.

Fear of Flying

This rational phenomenon is common among some travelers. This fear manifests as increased stress and anxiety during the flight, even though it has been proven that flying is the safest mode of transportation.
